Now I'm a PhD
Hey! It's been a long time since I last uploaded new photos or wrote new journals. That is because a lot is going on lately! After the financial troubles of this autumn things start to have a nicer shape now, and maybe I'll have a chance to catch up with you guys around here soon enough.
Until then, here is some big news: I defended my thesis yesterday, and I became a PhD :)

Troubles and ThumbTools
Lately I've been pretty passive on dA! The main reason for that is the economic depression getting through to me. The company I've been working for has financial problems, and had to reduce my salary to less than the third of what I've been hired for. I already had financial problems at the time, so I had to come up with a fast solution: that is working extra hours as a freelancer web designer, photographer, software developer. Anyway... right now I'm still short of money, and most of my free time is spent looking for work, and possible positions at another company. (It is also possible, that my current job will not be available form January
Critique request + Feature
Few days ago I uploaded a new portrait that I worked with pretty long time, and I was pretty surprised to see, that only 1 deviant added the photo to their favorites. Don't get me wrong, I'm not whining here, and I'm absolutely satisfied with the amount of support I get. BUT since I'm here to learn for the most part, I would really appreciate if some of you could write a critique on that particular deviation, so I can find out how should I improve similar shoots in the future :) So here is the deviation we are talking about:
