Description

We are standing at the end of the larges glacier of the eastern part of the Alps: the Pasterze. Along with most glaciers around the world it is retreating at a very rapid pace due to global warming. On one half of this panorama you can see the melting glacier, on the other half you can see what remains behind: a desert of stones.
